A church built on LOVE. It was the mission of Superintendent Phillips to love people where they are and teach that love is a growth process that is only perfected through Christ.
The Legacy of Superintendent Phillips and Divine Love is being carried on by his Son-in-Law Pastor Alphonso B. Hawkins and his wife, Evangelist Missionary Marti L. Hawkins, the daughter of Superintendent Phillips.
Supt. Phillips would say, “I can only do for you as much as your presence allows“.
